Laboratory Analyst

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Laboratory Analyst for an Onsite position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in Thousand Oaks, CA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is responsible for developing, qualifying, and transferring state-of-the-art and fit-for-purpose quantitative potency and biological characterization assays, as well as supporting sample testing and regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities:

• Implement analytical potency methods for release testing, stability testing, product characterization/optimization, reference standard characterization, and investigations
• Generate and analyze analytical data to support product development and regulatory submissions
• Contribute to critical analytical development teams by providing analytical updates, documentation, and data interpretation
• Support analytical projects involving method development, qualification, and transfer
• Perform potency assay sample testing and cell culture
• Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies
• Operate specialized laboratory equipment such as plate readers, centrifuges, microscopes, and automated liquid handlers

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree OR Associate’s degree and 2 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED and 4 years of experience
• Ability to perform cell culture and pipetting
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Adept at good documentation practices

Pay range: up to $21.45 per hour
