Laboratory Assistant

On Line Design, Inc. is currently seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant to work on-site in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you will assist scientists in making qualitative and quantitative analyses (including experiment set up, clean up, data entry in Excel, and data distribution). You are expected to maintain a clean and orderly lab environment and ensure that lab safety requirements are met.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare laboratory samples, batches, and test specimens according to established formulations, protocols, and written instructions.
• \n
• Accurately weigh, measure, mix, and dispense raw materials using analytical balances and standard lab equipment.
• \n
• Document all work clearly and completely in laboratory notebooks, worksheets, and electronic data systems.
• \n
• Set up, calibrate, clean, and perform basic maintenance on laboratory instruments and equipment; report malfunctions to the appropriate technical staff.

• Maintain a clean and orderly lab environment
• \n
• Follow safety guidelines

Requirements:

• Prior laboratory experience
• \n
• Proficiency in Office 365, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
• \n
• Associate or bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or a related science field preferred
