Laboratory Assistant

Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience in a specialty setting
- Valid Phlebotomy Certification
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow detailed protocols and safety procedures
Nice to Have Skills:
- Additional certifications in laboratory technology or related fields
- Experience with laboratory information systems (LIS)
- Knowledge of compliance standards and quality assurance processes
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in medical laboratory technology preferred
- Prior experience with phlebotomy in a clinical or hospital setting
Other Requirements:
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM 6:30 AM, including every 4th weekend
- Commitment to a 13-week assignment
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Willingness to adhere to all safety and regulatory standards
- Travel, licensure, certification reimbursements as applicable
The hourly pay rate for this position is $24.30.
