Are you looking to gain hands-on laboratory experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment? Join Orlando Health as a Laboratory Assistant II – PRN and play a vital role in supporting patient care through specimen processing, patient registration, laboratory operations, and customer service.
What You'll Do
- Receive and process laboratory specimens
- Register patients and enter physician orders
- Label, aliquot, store, and transport samples
- Support pathology specimen processing
- Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies
- Assist with scheduling and report distribution
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Support quality improvement and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two (2) years of laboratory or patient care experience OR
- Current student pursuing a science-related degree or certification (Nursing, Medical Technology, Pre-Med, or related clinical field)
