Job Title: Laboratory Assistant (Part-Time)
 Number of Openings: 1
 Location: 500 White Plains Road, Tarrytown, NY 10591 

Work schedule can be 4 or 5 days depending on workload.

Part-time 4-6 hours

Total Reg Hours: 20.00/Per Week

Timings : 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM; 30 Minutes Lunch

Interview: Virtual Interviews between (6/2 - 6/4)

Qualifications:

• Education: minimum HSD
• Someone with lab experience would be preferred. Familiar with lab safety protocol. Ability to work in a team environment. 
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures. Capable of moving and handling large containers of oil and related fluids (preferred). 
• Ability to interact frequently with a variety of functions, such as scientists, building maintenance, shipping/receiving personnel, safety personnel. 
• Good organizational and time-management skills. Must be comfortable using Excel, Outlook, Word, basic MicroSoft suite programs.

Responsibilities:

Hours: Daytime; Part-time (4-6 hours)

• Wash laboratory glassware and distribute to various lab personnel.
• Maintain chemical inventory.
• Maintain supply of solvents and materials needed by scientists.
• Maintain inventory of basic laboratory supplies, such as paper towels, gloves, pipettes, soap, etc...
• Manage the waste disposal of chemicals used within the group.
• Management of fleet test samples and test results.
• Assist with shipping and receiving of test samples.
• Administration of quality documentation.
• Work with all lab personnel to maintain an organized and safe lab environment.
• Follow all safety regulations and participate in safety inspections and monthly safety meetings.
