Piper Companies is currently looking for an experienced Laboratory Cleaning Technician in Lansing, Michigan (MI) to work for a growing pharmaceutical company.
Responsibilities for the Laboratory Cleaning Technician include:
- Ensure a sterile, safe, and compliant environment by cleaning, disinfecting, and decontaminating laboratory equipment, glassware, and workspaces.
- Operate autoclaves, cage washers and manage cleanroom environments.
- Adhere to safety protocols, OSHA standards, and GLP/GMP guidelines to maintain documentation and cleaning logs
- Safely disposing of chemical and biological hazardous waste.
- Maintain stock of cleaning supplies and laboratory consumables
Qualifications for the Laboratory Cleaning Technician include:
- Experience cleaning sterile environments preferred but not required
- Must be able to lift 50 points
- HS Diploma or equivalent required
Compensation for the Laboratory Cleaning Technician include:
- Hourly rate is $15.00 - $17.00/HR
