Description:
 
Lab Clerk requires minimum HS diploma or equivalent education. However, relevant experience can be substituted for education. Have working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Language skills: Read analyze and interpret technical procedures, government, and statutory regulations. Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients, customers, and general personnel.
Communication skills: They require the ability to follow verbal and written instructions as well as excellent written and oral communication skills for documentation purposes and an effective work relationship
Organizational skills: They require the ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines; as well as to organize and maintain data or information
Drive for quality: They must have a drive to continuously improve processes for improved performance
Research skills: They also require the ability to gather and generate data as well as conduct relevant investigations where there are deviations from standards
Technical skills: They must also possess the requisite technical skills required for them to perform their jobs successfully.

Responsibilities:
 
OVERVIEW: The Lab Clerk is responsible organizing, filing, inputting accurate data and distributing reports for product quality.
Work with manufacturing and technical groups to ensure execution of requirements.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
1. Organizes, files and distributes reports and quality control data.
2. Keeps accurate and legible records.
3. Records and stores wet retain samples.
4. Prepares wet retains if required, for shipping via courier meeting hazardous materials requirements to both national and international customer locations.
5. Ships batch certification sheet with QC panels for each batch to the customers.
6. Records final batch results in QC cards.
7. Files quality control records, batch cards, standards, data cards and COA’s.
8. Prepares pre-ship/co-ship for the customer.
9. Utilizes office equipment such as a personal computer, copier, fax machine, etc.
10. Generates report utilizing computer software.
11. Applies learned health, safety and environmental principles and procedures and hazardous materials handling
