Laboratory Courier - Rotational Shift (Salinas, CA)

IEH Laboratories is now accepting applications for the Laboratory Courier/Lab Aid position at its facility in Salinas, CA.

Ideal candidates will possess the following:

• A high school diploma or GED required
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs above waist level
• Ability to regularly lift up to 30lbs above waist level
• A valid US drivers license and clean driving record, including at minimum no accidents in the last 5 years that meets and continues to meet motor vehicle risk standards as verified through ongoing MVR monitoring

Laboratory Courier Duties ------------------------

Laboratory Courier duties include:

• Safely transporting samples from customers to the lab on a fixed schedule
• General laboratory cleaning and other duties as assigned

Pay Range and Benefits ----------------------

The pay range for this position is $16.90 - $17.50 hourly, plus a 2-night shift differential. This is a full-time position that is eligible for the following benefits after a brief waiting period:

Training and Scheduling -----------------------

Training for this position will be during the day shift, 8:30am to 5pm. Thereafter, the position may operate on one of the following shifts on a rotating basis:

• Afternoon shift: 3:30pm to 12:00am
• Night shift: 11:30pm to 8:00am

The laboratory operates 24/7, so candidates must be willing to work nights, weekends, and potential holidays.
