A regional medical center in Alexandria, LA is seeking a full-time Laboratory Director to lead its laboratory services department, encompassing blood bank, chemistry and hematology, and microbiology.

The role. The Laboratory Director is responsible for the planning, coordination, and oversight of all laboratory services operations across these disciplines. This leader provides direction and administration to the department, setting clear expectations and ensuring consistent, high-quality performance from laboratory staff. The Director communicates organizational expectations to employees and serves as the primary point of accountability for departmental outcomes and operational integrity.

What we're looking for.
  • Recent acute care lab supervisory experience (Manager/Supervisor level required; ideally with oversight of a high FTE count if coming from a supervisor role)
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited school in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or chemical, physical, or biological science
  • State License Medical Technologist
  • Registered with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) — required

Schedule. This is a day-shift position.

Compensation. $47.10 - $47.10/hr plus Sign on: Case by Case; Relocation assistance: Case by Case
