General Job Description: TThe Laboratory Materials Technician is responsible for conducting comprehensive field observations and laboratory testing of construction materials in alignment with GES, Inc. quality standards and client schedules. This role involves testing materials such as soil, concrete, asphalt, and other specialized substances to ensure compliance with specifications. The technician will work closely with field and lab supervisors, project managers, and program managers to coordinate testing activities.Essential Job Functions: Perform field/laboratory testing and prepare detailed reports summarizing construction materials field/lab testing and observations with quality and accuracy, delivering results on timeObtain and maintain relevant certificationsFollow Safety Manual guidelinesObtain field samples for laboratory testing and discuss scope of laboratory testing with the Project Manager; communicate proactively with dispatch, managers and clients to discuss progress of field workMaintain testing equipment and related housekeeping tasks in a thorough, efficient mannerDemonstrate and foster a positive work environmentShow commitment as a team playerRepresent themselves professionally to internal and external clientsPerform other duties as assignedPay Range: $20-$27 per hour (depending upon experience)#J-18808-Ljbffr
