Assist and perform a wide range of chemical and physical analyses on petrol-fuels and chemicals. Operate equipment to control chemical changes or reactions generated by processing industrial or consumer products.
Responsibilities
Work in laboratory environment that may contain chemical odors.
Perform assigned duties according to the current HSE laboratory safety standards.
Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations while performing assigned duties.
Collect data, document test results, and assist report preparation.
Design and conduct experiments simulating field conditions.
Maintain and calibrate high-pressure, high-temperature lab equipment.
Analyze data and prepare detailed reports.
Develop testing standards and protocols.
Support product development with testing insights.
Perform material compatibility tests with various solvents and chemicals.
Computer Skills - Strong background in MS office applications
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or from relevant discipline
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
Physical Requirement
Physical Abilities: Lift and carry 50 pounds in various packaging. Tip and move 55-gallon drums, weighing up to 600 pounds, with the use of a drum dolly.
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Safety glasses, goggles, etc.
