Required Skills and Certifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a hospital clinical laboratory setting.
- Experience with macroscopic description, gross examination, and dissection of specimens.
- Proficiency in tissue preparation, histological processing, and specimen fixation.
- Ability to obtain and review patient clinical information.
- Experience with adult and fetal autopsies.
- ASCP - PA certification required.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Specimen accessioning and frozen section processing.
- Experience with postmortem examinations and removal of brain and spinal cord.
- Gross/microscopic photography skills.
- Master’s degree preferred.
Job Details
- Shift: 5x8 DAYS 0800-16:30 Monday-Friday.
- 40 hours per week, with 16-week contracts available.
- No call, float, or weekend requirements.

- Unit Systems: EPIC
- Unit Orientation: 8 hours
- Hospital Orientation: Week one, full availability required.
