Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night (5x8 Hours), 3:00 AM 11:30 AM; every other weekend required; must be flexible may be asked to work an alternate shift on occasion to cover staffing changes
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a travel contract Phlebotomist opportunity at a Short Term Acute Care facility with 325 staffed beds utilizing EPIC for charting. The position is an Allied/Laboratory role with an ASAP start date and requires a flexible schedule including every other weekend.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and laboratory specimen collection duties in an acute care hospital setting
• Work a 5x8-hour night shift schedule (3:00 AM 11:30 AM)
• Work every other weekend as required
• Be flexible to cover alternate shifts on occasion to accommodate staffing changes

Required Skills

• Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience required
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
• Ability to work every other weekend
• Flexibility to work alternate shifts as needed to cover staffing changes

Education Requirements

• BLS certification required
• WA MAP (Phlebotomy) license must be in hand at time of submittal; pending license not accepted

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience required
• First-time travelers accepted

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Short Term Acute Care facility (325 staffed beds)
• Night shift environment (3:00 AM 11:30 AM)
• On-call not required
• Every other weekend required

Important Notes

• WA MAP (Phlebotomy) license must be in hand at time of submittal pending license is NOT accepted
• Local travelers with a permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility are NOT eligible for this travel contract
• All RTO (Requested Time Off) must be included at time of submittal
• COVID-19 vaccination: Not required
