Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, conduct, and analyze data sets of bacteria-bacteria interactions occurring during planktonic and biofilm growth states
- Prepare CRISPRi-seq libraries for Illumina sewuencing and microbiome 16S rRNA amplicon community profile libraries for Nanopore sequencing
- Perform bioinformatic and statistical analyses of sgRNA Illumina sequencing reads of CRISPRi-seq experiments
- Prepare data summaries, reports, and manuscripts; present research findings to other team members
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with data sets
- Experience with data analysis
