Laboratory Specialist

• Receive, identify, and prepare cement samples according to laboratory procedures.
• Prepare representative composite samples for physical and mechanical testing.
• Perform physical testing in accordance with EN 196, ASTM, API, or other applicable standards
• Ensure correct sample traceability and identification throughout the testing process.
• Properly retain and store samples in accordance with laboratory requirements.
• Operate laboratory equipment safely and correctly.
• Perform routine equipment cleaning and preventive maintenance.
• Carry out daily verification and performance checks.
• Assist during equipment calibration activities and report equipment malfunctions immediately.
• Record all analytical results accurately and legibly.
• Complete laboratory worksheets, logbooks and electronic records.
• Maintain full traceability of samples and test results.
• Ensure compliance with document control requirements and identify and report non-conforming work.
• Follow company Health, Safety and Environmental procedures

Required qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or a related technical discipline.
