Description

This is an onsite role requiring 5 days per week in Auburn Hills, MI.

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in laboratory equipment maintenance, manufacturing equipment maintenance, facilities maintenance, or similar.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools.
  • Welding experience preferred.

What we offer:

  • Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000-67,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 5% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).

#ONSITE

  • Reads blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, measuring instruments, and operational instructions to provide support for testing activities.
  • Evaluates laboratory support activity results and may review data for conformance with specifications..
  • Operates designated laboratory equipment and tools as directed.
  • Responds to user requests to repair and/or modify existing laboratory instrumentation, automated systems and test fixtures.
  • As applicable, records observed or calculated data on appropriate UL forms as the record of laboratory support activities.
  • May plan laboratory support activities, and evaluate results, as directed.
  • Performs routine maintenance on existing laboratory instrumentation, automated systems and test fixtures using established procedures.
  • Ensures both new and existing test systems meet safety requirements and compliance with the local laws.
  • Designs and builds test fixtures.
  • Read and follow the UL Standards of Business Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices
  • Performs other duties as directed.
