Sampson Regional Medical Center is seeking a Laboratory Tech II to join the Laboratory Department.
Description:
The selected applicants will perform various waived moderately and highly complex hematologic chemical immunohematologic immunologic serologic microscopic and microbiological tests on specimens to obtain data for use in diagnosis or treatment of diseases.
Requirements:
- National certification as an MT/MLS/MLT by an approved agency (ASCP or AMT) preferred
- Two years Lab Tech I or II experience preferred
- Bachelors degree in MLS and 1 year of experience or an Associates degree in MLT and 2 years of experience required
- Knowledge of lab equipment, quality control methods, and report management required
