Job Title: Laboratory Technician - 2nd Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laboratory Technician for a full-time position working 4x10 hour shifts. The 2nd shift schedule includes Monday to Tuesday and Thursday to Friday from 12 pm to 10:30 pm, with Wednesdays and weekends off.

Responsibilities

• Conduct microbiology lab testing for 80% to 90% of the workday.
• Perform plating, pipetting, and use various lab equipment.
• Complete remedial tasks such as documentation and cleaning for one to two hours daily.
• Collaborate with the team and cross-train into additional lab areas based on performance.

Essential Skills

• Strong understanding and knowledge of biology and microbiology.
• Proficiency in handling lab equipment and conducting laboratory procedures.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in the Sciences.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and processes.

Work Environment

The role is based in a laboratory environment where the technician will spend the majority of their time performing micro lab testing. The position offers hands-on experience in a rapidly growing company, providing opportunities for career advancement and relocation within the national network.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NEW BERLIN, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.17 - $20.17/hr.
