Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Job Description

Engage in testing and analysis of data center and hydraulic products. Operate specialized equipment, prepare samples, collect data, report findings, and support engineering development and overall lab operations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct tests and analyze data center and hydraulic products.
  • Operate and maintain specialized lab equipment.
  • Prepare samples for testing and ensure accurate data collection.
  • Report findings and support engineering development.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot test-related equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures.

Essential Skills

  • High School Diploma.
  • 4 to 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Intermediate knowledge of product lines such as data centers, hoses, couplings, belts, and tensioners.
  • Experience with data centers, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical machinery.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Understanding of mechanical laboratory test equipment and measurement tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
  • Experience in manufacturing, laboratory settings, or quality assurance.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Good planning, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot test-related equipment and procedural issues.
  • Experience setting up and utilizing data acquisition systems.

Work Environment

The work environment includes high noise levels in the Impulse Laboratory where hearing protection is required. Noise levels in other areas are moderate. Safety shoes and eye protection are mandatory in various parts of the lab. The work schedule consists of 12-hour shifts on a continental schedule, which includes three days on, two days off, two days on, and three days off.

This is a Contract position based out of Englewood, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
