Position Details:
Title: Laboratory Technician – Thermal Materials Testing
Position Type: 6 month contract with additional opportunity contingent upon performance and continued business need
Job Location: Chanhassen, MN

Compensation: $25-$35/HR

Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of a Senior Technician or Chemist, the Technician will be expected to perform the following functions with a high level of initiative and independence:

Perform mechanical, electrical, and thermal property testing of thermal interface materials and coatings
Evaluate, collect, and accurately record test data
Organize and conduct experiments using established procedures
Summarize and report results in laboratory notebooks and PowerPoint presentations
Use computer software to enter and manage data, including charts and tables, for communication of project results and details

Qualifications:

1–3 years of demonstrated laboratory experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to understand and follow experimental protocols while maintaining accurate data records
Comfortable working with toxic chemicals and adhering to safe laboratory practices and protocols
Ability to stand for extended periods while working in a laboratory environment
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Chemistry, Physics, or Engineering
