Laboratory Technician 4660 N Ravenswood Ave, Chicago, Illinois, United States Company Description Job Description KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Perform various testing on medical devices utilizing analytical equipment. Analyse and interpret test results, ensuring data is within specification limits. Document and report test findings and observations, maintaining accurate records according to documentation requirements. Participate in the implementation of new testing methods and protocols. Contribute to maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the laboratory. Manage the stock of laboratory consumables. Report any deviations, errors, failures, or OOS results and participate in the follow-up actions. Comply with the Good Practices applicable to the laboratory. Qualifications REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field. Experience in a laboratory environment. Self-motivated with good communication skills. Excellent organization skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient with the MS Suite. PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS Ability to troubleshoot and maintain various laboratory equipment. Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry. Familiarity with ISO standards and FDA regulations. Support product development by assisting with validation and new testing methods. Maintain laboratory organization, cleanliness, and equipment readiness. Monitor laboratory supplies and consumables. Report testing deviations or out-of-specification (OOS) results and assist with investigations. Follow laboratory best practices and quality procedures. QualificationsExperience working in a laboratory environment performing testing and sample analysis. Experience with medical devices, laboratory equipment, or other regulated products preferred. Strong attention to detail and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced product development environment. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline is preferred but equivalent laboratory experience will also be considered.
