Job Title- Packaging Engineering Laboratory Technician
Location: Arden Hills, MN
Duration-12 Months Contract

Pay Rate: $31.64/hr.
Shift: 1st Shift (08:00:AM - 04:30:PM)

The Opportunity
  • The Packaging Lab Technician I provides hands-on support for package testing, laboratory operations, and equipment maintenance within a packaging engineering laboratory. This entry-level role is responsible for preparing test samples, executing standardized test methods, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring laboratory equipment and work areas remain organized and compliant with quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine package testing under the guidance of engineers and senior technicians.
  • Prepare, label, condition, and document test samples.
  • Operate laboratory equipment such as compression testers, environmental chambers, seal strength testers, and leak test systems.
  • Record test results and maintain accurate laboratory documentation.
  • Assist with calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment.
  • Support engineers with project activities and completion of work requests.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a laboratory environment.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn new testing methods.
