Hiring Immediately!Lab Technician Malta, ILAdvance Services is now accepting resumes for a
Seed Lab Technician position in Malta, IL.
Job Duties:
Process leaf and seed samples for DNA testing
Add chemical buffers and operate lab equipment (grinders, centrifuges, PCR, etc.)
Keep tests organized and completed on time
Assist teammates and cover when others are out
Handle shipping, receiving, and organizing lab supplies
Dispose of used materials and maintain a clean lab
Track work online and report issues promptly
Report findings to support breeding programs
Communicate closely with internal teams to meet project needs
Assist with various lab tasks as needed (seed plating, consumables, etc.)
Follow all safety and ergonomic protocols
Requirements:
Bachelors degree
Previous lab experience required
