Laboratory Technician Materials Testing

Laboratory TechnicianUnder the supervision of a senior technician or chemist, the laboratory technician performs laboratory testing and experimental activities with a high level of initiative and independence. The role supports mechanical, electrical, and thermal properties testing of thermal interface materials and coatings, as well as standard laboratory testing for new product introductions and customer sample testing. The technician operates and maintains laboratory equipment, supports standardization and harmonization of laboratory test methods, and assists with equipment calibration and safety checks. The role requires accurate data collection, evaluation, recording, and organization using established procedures. The technician uses Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint, to compile data, create charts and tables, summarize results, and communicate project details. The position requires adherence to laboratory safety practices and protocols, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment.
