Laboratory Technician

Job Title: Laboratory Technician II
Location: Morrisville, PA 19067
Duration: 06 Months
Shift:7:00 AM - 3:30 PM / 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM; possible overtime after training

Job Description:
Sample log-in into data management system in a timely and accurate manner.
Sample preparation.
Analysis of routine samples on . instruments.
Performing instrument maintenance as needed.
Processing results and entry into data management system.
Delivering/Transporting samples between labs as necessary.
Cleaning glassware.
Sample disposal and waste compilation.
Inventory tracking and purchasing of supplies.
Help implement 5S in the laboratories and workspaces.
Complete safety training and foster a safe working environment.

Job Requirements:
Associate's Degree in Chemistry or Similar Science, with 1-3 years of industrial experience.
Capable of learning, understanding, and following SOPs to perform assigned duties.
Ability to understand and follow safe handling procedures for hazardous chemicals.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other employees.
Must have initiative and be self-motivated.
Good verbal and written skills.
Good organizational skills.
Ability to work under time pressure.
Ability to change plans and work environment on short notice.
Must be able to lift 50lb loads with the help of coworkers.
