\nShift: Monday - Friday 9 AM - 5 PM
\nLength: 5 months, Possible extension
\nPay: $20 -$25/hr
\nRequired Qualifications:
\nHS Diploma/GED
\n1–2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory as a Laboratory Technician, Laboratory Assistant, or related position
\nJob Responsibilities:
\nProcess, accession, and enter patient specimen information into the laboratory computer system.
\nReview test orders, requisitions, patient identification, and specimens for accuracy and completeness.
\nCentrifuge, aliquot, sort, and prepare specimens for testing or shipment to reference laboratories.
\nPrioritize and process STAT/RUSH specimens and perform waived laboratory testing as assigned.
\nFollow laboratory and HIPAA guidelines while maintaining quality, accuracy, patient safety, and accurate records.
