The Laboratory Technician is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable results to customers. The Laboratory Technician performs limited routine laboratory tasks with moderate supervision. This person will run oil field samples, learns basic troubleshooting of equipment (if applicable), use and maneuver through lab software (LIMS), and be detail oriented when entering lab data.
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour (starting)
Monday to Friday/ 8 am to 5 pm
Temporary (90-days minimum)
* Demonstrate ability to work as an integral member of the team.
* Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
* Ensure that laboratory equipment is in clean, working condition and that waste is regularly disposed of.
* Maintain standard turnaround times and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
* Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives. * Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
* Maintain the required safety training.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of relevant work experience
Able to lift 50lbs (Ocassionally)
Basic Microsoft Office exp
Good written and verbal communiation
Able to work as a team player
