The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Laboratory Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in San Jose, CA Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
- Pay Rate up to $23.00 Per Hour
- 4 Month Contract to Start
- Set up, fill, and test microplates following established procedures
- Operate laboratory equipment and automated manufacturing systems
- Analyze large datasets using Excel and data analysis software
- Support troubleshooting, problem-solving, and process improvement activities
- Maintain accurate records and follow laboratory/manufacturing procedures
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or higher in Life Science, Chemistry, Engineering Technology, or related field
- 2+ years of technical, manufacturing, or laboratory experience
- Experience with centrifuges, micropipettes, and analytical balances
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Windows
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive work
- Ability to occasionally lift/move equipment up to 35 lbs.
- Experience with automation, plate readers, or liquid handling equipment (Beckman, Agilent, Hamilton)
- Experience with SQL, Python, or other programming languages
- Experience with microplate manufacturing or qualification
