JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for talented and result-oriented individuals to support our team through image / video capture, camera benchmarking, and field testing. You will operate imaging laboratory equipment and cameras, collect objective performance indicators, and prepare test reports.
The ideal candidates should be self-motivated, passionate about cameras and image quality, and have a critical eye and attention to detail. They should have effective communication skills, and the ability to learn quickly and work efficiently with team members of diversified backgrounds. This is an entry-level position; the successful candidate will be trained to correctly and efficiently perform job duties
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Basic lab management, lab equipment bring-up and maintenance
Camera competitive analysis and benchmarking, field testing, image / video capture
Create demo scene setups, collect results, and prepare test reports
SKILLS:
Ability to follow instructions and product manuals, ability to work independently
General camera and lab equipment operating skills
Basic manual skills including toolmanship and equipment assembly
Basic photography / picture-taking skills, with attention to visual details
Good communication skills (verbal & written) in English
All necessary camera training will be provided
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
Associate or bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or other relevant areas - high school diploma acceptable
We are looking for someone with an interest in camera and video, and an eye for details while looking at images, who is a quick learner who we can teach and cultivate.
Additional notes:
Candidate with a background in imaging or an interest in camera/video a plus
Hardware assembly or debugging experience would be a plus
Position would be good for someone who wants to work in a different domain of engineering
Tools: Windows camera app (for image capture) and various proprietary tools
