Laboratory Technician (Sealer)

Title: Laboratory Technician I

Location: 3601 James P Cole Blvd. Flint, Mi 48505

Duration: 1 year contract on W2

Rate: $22/hr on W2

Shift Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00AM-4:30PM. 40 hours/week.

Description:

• The Sealer technician will be hand applying automotive seam sealer (like caulk for water proofing) in the ADC building.
• Previous automotive sealing/ coating application experience preferred, not required
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow directions accurately
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Level I: 0-3 years. Under direct supervision, performs a variety of routine operations in a research and development setting. Job duties consist of
• Hand (manual) application of Automotive Seam Sealer to parts/vehicles using flow brush
• Adherence to customer specifications and requirements
• Coordinates/executes process sequencing, parts, pilot unit handling
• Operating 2 post vehicle lift
• Loading/moving parts and vehicles in and out of curing ovens
• Follows site and company EHS guidelines
• Follows site hazardous materials handling/hazardous waste handling procedures
