Job Summary

The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment - Division of Regulatory Services is seeking a Laboratory Technician Senior to support its mission of ensuring the quality and regulation of animal feed, fertilizer, seed, and raw milk for Kentucky consumers.

This position is responsible for performing wet chemistry analysis on feed and milk samples within the feed and milk lab programs. Additional duties include maintaining laboratory equipment, ordering supplies, and coordinating with instrument vendors for troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. Assist or participate in interdepartmental laboratory work, cross-training with similar positions may be necessary and assigned as needed.

As a key team member, the Laboratory Technician Senior will contribute to upholding regulatory standards and ensuring the delivery of superior agricultural products.
