About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our client's team in the industrial sector. In this role, you will contribute to delivering safe, efficient, and reliable Production & Stimulation Delivery (PSD) services, performing laboratory testing, preparing technical documentation, and providing advanced technical input during additive selection and fluid design.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all job deliverables are accurate, complete, and delivered on schedule.
- Build competency to perform advanced additive selection and fluid design for customer jobs.
- Keep laboratory equipment clean, calibrated, and operational; ensure proper waste disposal.
- Conduct quality assurance tests and prepare laboratory reports prior to wellsite service delivery.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations for internal teams and external customers.
- Perform routine audits to ensure compliance with required laboratory standards.
- Assist Design/Technical Engineers and Product Champions with technical support as needed.
- Conduct risk assessments before each task to identify and mitigate safety or quality concerns.
- Participate in Service Quality Meetings and contribute to performance improvement action plans.
- Follow all HSE policies, wear required PPE, and maintain current safety training.
- Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of relevant laboratory or technical work experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team player.
Preferred Qualifications
- Optional skill or experience.
- Nice-to-have software knowledge or industry experience.
