Job Title: Laboratory Technician

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our client's team in the industrial sector. In this role, you will contribute to delivering safe, efficient, and reliable Production & Stimulation Delivery (PSD) services, performing laboratory testing, preparing technical documentation, and providing advanced technical input during additive selection and fluid design.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all job deliverables are accurate, complete, and delivered on schedule.
  • Build competency to perform advanced additive selection and fluid design for customer jobs.
  • Keep laboratory equipment clean, calibrated, and operational; ensure proper waste disposal.
  • Conduct quality assurance tests and prepare laboratory reports prior to wellsite service delivery.
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations for internal teams and external customers.
  • Perform routine audits to ensure compliance with required laboratory standards.
  • Assist Design/Technical Engineers and Product Champions with technical support as needed.
  • Conduct risk assessments before each task to identify and mitigate safety or quality concerns.
  • Participate in Service Quality Meetings and contribute to performance improvement action plans.
  • Follow all HSE policies, wear required PPE, and maintain current safety training.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–2 years of relevant laboratory or technical work experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team player.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Optional skill or experience.
  • Nice-to-have software knowledge or industry experience.
