Job Details:
- Pay: $26/Hour
- 1 year assignment, possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
- Monday – Friday (1st shift)
Description:
- The Testing Technician is responsible for preparing formulations on the benchtop, roasting coffee, packing samples, sieving powder materials, and supporting ongoing lab work.
- This role supports product development, quality evaluation, and data reporting through hands-on lab work and strong documentation practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare benchtop formulations, including accurately measuring and weighing ingredients, blending, and packing into single-serve portions.
- Roast coffee in accordance with established protocols
- Support powder-based lab activities, including sieving bulk materials, cleaning lab equipment, and supporting measurement work
- Supporting coffee processing lab work, including conducting measurements of moisture and degassing behavior in accordance with established protocols
- As needed, brew samples using company Brewers and conduct testing on formulations both prior to brewing and on finished beverages.
Required Skills & Capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Sciences, with Food Science or Engineering preferred
- Relevant experience in Food and Beverage Industry. Experience with Coffee and Coffee Beverages is a plus
- Basic understanding of Good Lab and Manufacturing Practices, and Food Safety Regulatory Standards.
