ABOUT THE ROLE

Amrize is looking for a Laborer to join our team to carry out general maintenance work. This position will report directly to the Production Manager.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Identify and communicate product problems and information
• Perform several types of manual work
• Handle materials, tools, and equipment
• Operate automotive vehicles when required
• Shovel spillage around conveyors
• Monitor and restock office supplies; assist with other administrative tasks as required.
• Support daily quarry, crushing, screening, washing and aggregate yard operations
• Assist equipment operators and maintenance personnel
• Additional duties as assigned by management
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Required Work Experience: Skid steer experience is ideal

Additional Requirements:

• Semi-skilled, enthusiastic, has the ability to work on their own initiative
• Knowledge in general maintenance work
• Capable of working in an outdoor environment year round
• Ensure safety goals are achieved
• Seek out and implement Best Practices
• Create an atmosphere of teamwork and ensure the development of personnel and arbitrate to resolve conflicts
• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
