Laborer

Position Summary

Cleaning, sweeping, mopping, basic cleanup of area. General Laborer duties.  Assist supervisors and other employees in the performance of their duties by working directly on a given task, or independently performing non-complex, routine or repetitive tasks incidental to the operations of the job classification, up to and including: organize and distribute tools and materials to work crews; accept equipment and materials deliveries; operate a forklift (safety training available); daily clean-up of work areas.  THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD.

Standard Duties

Facility cleaning in common areas.

Run errands when necessary.  Load and unload material and equipment; move material, parts, benches, pack and unpack boxes and crates:  clean, count and sort parts, as required.  Sweep, clean and maintain good housekeeping practices, as directed. Maintain logs and records, as required.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
