BASIC JOB DUTIES: Duties include picking recyclable material out of the waste stream, cleaning /sweeping the yard, including the loading tunnel and scale pits, spotting and directing traffic, washing and/or painting bins and any other general labor duties as assigned. Person should be friendly, trustworthy, reliable, and punctual with the ability to work year round.
SKILLS REQUIRED (MINIMUM): People skills, awareness of surroundings, able to lift up to 50lbs and work in outdoor conditions (rain, wind and heat).
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS: Bilingual and previous experience at a transfer station facility or the potential of learning and operating heavy equipment and scale house duties a plus.
