Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Concrete Laborer to join our team. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work and overtime opportunities. Start times may vary, including early mornings (as early as 6:00 AM).
Employees become eligible for benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k) after completing a 90-day probationary period.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment at all times
- Identify and report hazards or unsafe behavior to the Foreman or Crew Leader
- Assist with mixing, pouring, and finishing concrete
- Transport materials, tools, and equipment across job sites
- Direct traffic and maintain safe work zones when required
- Operate hand tools and power tools such as jackhammers, drills, and saws
- Build, set, and dismantle concrete forms
- Clean and prepare job sites to eliminate hazards
- Load and unload construction materials and distribute as needed
- Assist skilled tradesmen including finishers, crew leaders, and supervisors
- Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and machinery
- Perform general labor tasks including digging, backfilling, leveling, and compacting
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of construction experience preferred
- Ability to obtain OSHA 10 certification and First Aid certification
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Valid US Drivers License
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions, including heat over 100°F
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and twist throughout the workday
- Ability to lift and carry at least 40 lbs
- Strong physical stamina, coordination, and manual dexterity
