Position Laborer
The Laborer will be responsible for performing essential physically demanding tasks to support construction, demolition, and maintenance projects, including digging, cleaning sites, and moving materials. Key duties involve operating handpower tools, assisting skilled tradespeople, and following strict safety regulations. The role requires significant, consistent physical effort.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Reviewing blueprints • Taking measurements • Using tools like shovels, jackhammers, saws, and/or hydraulic equipment to carry out specific tasks • Directing traffic during roadway construction • Operating heavy machinery
Qualifications
1 year of experience in the concrete pavement restoration and road construction is preferred. Industry-relevant certifications and training are preferred. The ability to travel is a must.
The successful candidate will have:
• Proficiency in mobile software applications • Knowledge of materials, methods, and the appropriate tools to construct objects, structures, and buildings • Possession of knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, benefits, repair, and maintenance • Ability to train others to perform at acceptable levels on relevant tasks
