As a Laborer, you'll support vital infrastructure projects by assisting with sewer maintenance, pipeline inspection, and rehabilitation work. You'll work outdoors across diverse sites, traveling throughout Maineand possibly staying overnight in accommodations paid for by the employer. This is a long-term, direct hire position offering comprehensive training, opportunities for advancement, and stability.
What You'll Do
As a Construction Laborer / Technician Laborer, you will be responsible for:
- Operating and maintaining tools and equipment used in sewer and pipeline projects.
- Performing general outdoor labor, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials up to 50 lbs.
- Supporting trenchless construction and industrial projects at multiple sites across Maine.
- Traveling to job sites; overnight stays may be required (hotel expenses covered).
- Attending safety meetings regularly and strictly following safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
- Communicating effectively with team members and adhering to on-site instructions.
- Participating in on-the-job and in-house training programs to develop and enhance your skills.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Experience in construction, landscaping, logging, or similar manual labor roles (training provided if limited experience).
- The ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and long hours.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and good hand-eye coordination.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards following instructions.
- A valid drivers license (preferred); CDL holders may qualify for higher-paying roles.
- Ability to pass physical assessments and a pre-employment drug screening (CDL roles must meet DOT standards).
- A clean driving record with no recent major violations or criminal history involving violence (background check required).

Location & Schedule
