General Laborer
Location: Maple City, MI 49664
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Position OverviewWe are currently seeking a hardworking and reliable General Laborer to join our team at a landfill facility in Maple City, MI. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and are comfortable performing a variety of physical labor tasks throughout the day.The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be dependable, and be willing to assist with various site operations as needed.Responsibilities

• Perform general labor duties around the landfill site.
• Lift, move, and transport materials as directed.
• Load and unload vehicles and equipment.
• Assist with digging, filling, and site maintenance projects.
• Operate basic equipment and tools as needed.
• Perform groundskeeping duties including mowing, trimming, and debris cleanup.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned by site management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in general labor, construction, landscaping, warehouse, or outdoor work environments is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift, including lifting, bending, walking, and standing.
• Reliable transportation and a strong attendance record.
• Ability to follow directions and work safely in a team environment.
