We have immediate openings for Restoration Laborers in Tampa, Florida.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform restoration activities including concrete patching, sod restoration, blacktop restoration, and asphalt restoration. • Assist with general labor duties related to restoration and repair work. • Support foremen and supervisors with daily job-site operations. • Follow work instructions, job specifications, and safety requirements. • Operate and use hand tools and equipment safely and correctly. • Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment as needed. • Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites, ensuring protection of the public and property. • Perform work that meets or exceeds company and customer quality standards. • Report job-site issues, safety concerns, equipment needs, or damaged materials to supervision. • Communicate professionally with crew members, supervisors, and the public when necessary. • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety programs. • Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
• 3-5 years of experience in restoration work, including small asphalt patching and concrete finishing. • Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, standing, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. • Basic knowledge of restoration tools, materials, and techniques. • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. • Dependable with strong attendance and work ethic. • Ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship. • Drivers license preferred but not required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds. • Standing, walking including and primarily on uneven surfaces, turning, stooping, kneeling, crouching, speaking and hearing are required continuously.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Employee will be subjected to outside weather conditions. • Employee could be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, cold, heat and humidity. • The noise level in the work environment can often be loud. • The employee is frequently exposed to slow- or fast-moving traffic in the work environment.
