Laborer

Basic Duties and Responsibilities: • Receive, direct, and unload grain trucks and railcars using dump pits and lift systems • Climb ladders and stairs to access bins, silos, and equipment platforms • Operate conveyors, augers, legs, and bucket elevators to move grain • Open and close slide gates to control grain flow • Shovel, sweep, and vacuum spilled grain and debris • Load outbound trucks and railcars to proper weight limits • Maintain clean pits, tunnels, and work areas to prevent hazards • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions • Follow fall protection requirements • Assist with facility repairs and seasonal maintenance projects • Report mechanical issues or safety concerns to supervisors
