Laborer - Seasonal

Essential Duties

• Provide assistance on the job; duties will vary based on trade.
• Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
• Assist in building structures for business and construction sites requiring the use of heavy equipment and machinery.
• Load or unload construction materials.
• Remove, fill, or compact earth.
• Transport tools and equipment to work area.
• Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools and equipment.
• Clean, maintain, and service equipment and tools.

Education & Training

• High school diploma or equivalent, required
• Four year apprenticeship program may be required

Skills & Experience

• Working knowledge of:
  • Traditional building materials, practices, and techniques preferred
  • Machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance preferred
• Mathematical, mechanical, and technical skills
• A current valid driver’s license is required
