Description for Laborer – Filter Boxing:
- Pack, box, bundle, and organize HVAC air filter products securely for final warehousing and shipment.
- Keep pace with active production line flows to support daily packaging and delivery quotas.
- Conduct basic visual quality control checks to ensure finished products meet packaging standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, hazard-free, and fully compliant workstation throughout the shift.
- Follow all standard safety policies, wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), and respect moving equipment zones.
Details for Laborer – Filter Boxing:
- Pay Rate: $17.13 / hour starting wage.
- Shift Options (Choose Your Ideal Schedule):
- Day Shift: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM
- Swing Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
- Graveyard Shift: 10:30 PM – 6:00 AM (Sunday – Friday)
- Location: Tacoma, WA facility.
- Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire path with direct union progression.
- Pre-Employment Screening: Oral saliva drug screen required (THC permitted).
Requirements for Laborer – Filter Boxing:
- No prior manufacturing experience required—excellent hands-on training is fully provided!
- Must be highly dependable with a proven track record of reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Comfortable wearing basic safety PPE (safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection).
- Standard background check required (restrictions apply: no violent crimes, theft, or sex offenses).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive packing motions in an active plant layout.
