Lactation Consultant I, RN

Overview The Lactation Consultant I provides clinical care, support and education to breastfeeding mothers and their babies. The Lactation Consultant shall also provide consultative support and education to nursing, medical staff, and community breastfeeding support groups.

• Registered Nurse Required
• International Board Certified Lactation Consultant Required - Within 1 Year of Hire

Education

• Graduate Nursing Required
• Or College Courses Nursing Required - With Required Licensure/Certification - And Bachelors Degree Nursing Preferred

Experience

• 2 Years Clinical - Breastfeeding Required
• And Education - Teaching and Facilitation of Learning Required
