POSITION SUMMARY: A Barback is an assistant to the Bartender. They ensure bartenders have the supplies they need to provide service to customers. A Barback has many responsibilities like stocking, restocking and keeping their work area clean.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

      Conducts and oversees the daily activities of the stock room and bar area.

      Must be able to lift 20-75 pounds in a repetitive motion as needed.

      Maintain full stock of the bar and stock room on a daily basis.

      Transport stock products to and from the bar.

      Report any missing or stolen items to manager immediately.

      Clean store and stock room as needed to maintain compliance.

      Responsible for learning all areas of store operations to include bartending cleaning, expediting drinks.

      Responsible for maintaining the keg and CO2 log at all times.

      Must stock the coolers, bar cages, and any other areas of the store at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

      Must be at least 21 years of age.

      Prior warehouse or bar back experience

      Must be flexible to work any shift

      Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

      Must be at least 21 years of age

      Minimum of 1 year experience

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:

      Must have the ability/stamina to work a minimum of 30 hours a week.

      Ability to stand/walk for 6 hours per day.

      Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.

      Will frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate and key in data

      Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors.

      Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish
