Responsibilities Job Summary: A Food Service Representative is responsible for providing superior customer service and for preparing, packaging, and merchandising fresh product on a daily basis while maintaining all department and food safety / sanitation standards. Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions: Provides superior customer service Prepares, packages, and merchandises fresh product Takes orders from customers by telephone or in person Answers customer questions regarding products and assists them with selections Slices, packages, labels, and rotates products Uses suggestive selling techniques to meet customer needs and build department sales Scan in items on telxon for production Assists in technical areas as needed Merchandises product effectively Cleans and sanitizes display cases Properly handles and maintains the operation of all equipment Makes regular announcements to inform customers of products Complies with Company Food Safety and Sanitation standards Uses the effectively track production and shrink through department processes The responsibilities and essential functions outlined above describe the general nature and level of work assigned to this position.
