Your purpose: As a Laminator Operator, you will be responsible for the setup of the laminating machine, performing safety checks, and ensuring the proper materials are in place. You will operate the laminating machine, maintain the rollers and materials, read and interpret job tickets and specifications, input the correct settings, monitor equipment, and troubleshoot any problems that arise during operation of the laminating machine.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be primarily in our climate-controlled facility. The plant floor is subject to vibration and equipment noise leading to a loud environment. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and might also be exposed to outside conditions, tight spaces, cleaning solvents and heights.
Physical Demands: The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. Continuous (6 or more hours per day) bending, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs, reaching, lifting, and grasping. Continuous (6 or more hours per day) talking, listening, teaching, and repetitive motion, hand/wrist movement. Continuous (6 or more hours per day) standing and walking. Frequent (1 to 3 hours per day) work in a stooped position. Good eyesight, normal hearing. Ability to move and lift objects, frequently 50 lbs.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position on rotating 12-hour shifts (daytime shifts 6am-6pm; night-time shifts 6pm-6am). Days, nights, and hours may vary depending on assigned shift and production requirements. This position may require significant work hours beyond the normal workday based on the demands of the business cycle, customer volume of business.
