Land Planner -
Responsibilities
- Develop creative and practical land plans for master planned communities and large-scale developments
- Prepare residential neighborhood lotting plans and non-residential site plans
- Review, interpret, and apply zoning and subdivision ordinances, city codes, and development standards, including city comprehensive plans, planned development districts, and zoning documents
- Obtain and analyze GIS data, compiling base maps and resources from FEMA, USGS, and other agencies
- Work directly with the project Principal while collaborating on designs and coordinating with the client and other project consultants.
- Prepare entitlement packages and supporting documents for municipal approvals
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Landscape Architecture or related field from an accredited university
- 2+ years of professional experience, preferably in land planning or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, GIS software, and Microsoft Office Suite. M-Color is a plus.
