Job Responsibilities

Pennoni Associates is currently seeking a Survey Crew Chief for our Haddon Heights, NJ office, with experience consistent, but not limited to:
  • Being responsible for various surveys including boundary, ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, topographic and construction layout.
  • Proficiency with operation of Trimble robotic total stations, data collectors and GPS systems
  • Ability to work alone or with a crew
  • Ability to perform computations and QA/QC checks on work performed
  • Must demonstrate clear commitment to delivering excellent customer service exemplified by the finished work product, be it a support service or tangible end-product

Required Attributes:
  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in the field as a survey crew chief. Due to the unique nature of consulting engineering and planning services, prior experience in our industry is highly desirable.
  • Clean driving record with valid driver's license and ability to pass USDOT driver check

Preferred Attributes:
  • Understanding and ability to use Carlson or AutoCAD Civil 3D software, a plus
  • Able to use Trimble Business Center for post processing field files, a plus
  • Desire to grow and expand knowledge in land surveying
  • Ability to work out of town as needed or requested
  • Knowledge of Leica RTC360 / P50 High-Definition Laser Scanners, a plus


TARGET SALARY RANGE: $70,000 - $80,000 (per year)
